It was after this that Guthrie’s husband, Michael Feldman, broke his silence on social media to address the footage of the alleged abductor.

Feldman shared footage on Instagram of the alleged abductor in Nancy’s case. The black-and-white video, which appears to have been filmed at night on a door camera, shows a suspect wearing a black ski mask and latex gloves. It appears to be a man, and footage shows what appears to be a gun in a holster on his waist. The suspect also has a large backpack. In the caption, Feldman shared his thoughts, writing, “Someone out there may recognize this person. Please help us. Bring her home.”

Fans and loved ones have flooded the post’s comments with messages of support. “Sending yours and the entire Guthrie family prayers and wisdom for the professionals working hard for Nancy’s swift and safe return,” a comment reads. “Sending you guys so much love. This is Feldman’s first public Instagram post since Nancy’s disappearance. However, his wife and her colleagues have regularly shared updates with fans. Law enforcement officials have been working tirelessly to locate Nancy Guthrie, who was reported missing on Sunday, February 1. She is 84.

The latest break in her disappearance and believed kidnapping, according to People, came on Tuesday, February 10, when the footage of a person of interest was circulated. Later a man was detained for police questioning. KNXV reporter Lillian Donahue made a statement on X in the early hours of Wednesday, February 11. “BREAKING: the man detained AND NOW RELEASED by authorities during the Nancy Guthrie investigation says he had no idea what was happening and that he just works as a delivery driver in Tucson,” she wrote.

Nancy’s whereabouts remain unknown.
